About similar products using "shrink leather" that claims to be of the same quality as BONAVENTURA

Currently, there are many products on the Internet, including major sites, such as smartphone cases that use "shrink leather" that claims to be of the same quality as our products.
BONAVENTURA only uses German shrink leather provided by two companies, Perlinger and Weinheimer.

This German shrink leather is made using natural chemicals that take into consideration the burden on the environment, and the leather is slowly shrunk (shrinked) over a long period of more than a week. It is also manufactured in a factory that meets strict EU environmental guidelines for the disposal of wastewater, exhaust, and waste after processing.

Shrink leather manufactured in China and other countries uses harmful chemicals in the manufacturing process for the purpose of cheap mass production, and there are concerns about residual chemicals.
Such shrunk leather is characterized by a very strong chemical smell.

Malicious counterfeits and similar products are sold on major online retailers such as Amazon and Rakuten, calling Chinese-made shrunk leather German shrunk leather or shrunk leather used by luxury brands, and posting numerous comments in product reviews such as "It's the same leather as BONAVENTURA."

In addition, embossed leather products that resemble shrunk leather have been confirmed as counterfeits and similar products, but this leather has no elasticity and a different texture from our products.

We are very concerned that such malicious counterfeits and similar products are being widely advertised, and we would like to warn everyone not to purchase based on incorrect information.
